Mailbox has just been created and is not ready for backup. Please try again later
Good Day
Since some days there are Warnings like this in our Mailbox / Teams Backup
"Mailbox has just been created and is not ready for backup. Please try again later".
In the Logs:
21.01.2022 08:29:00 110 (2364) Error: Failed to get a mailbox session for <MAILBOX>
21.01.2022 08:29:00 110 (2364) Type: Veeam.Ews.Internal.ExServerCodeException
21.01.2022 08:29:00 110 (2364) Stack:
21.01.2022 08:29:00 110 (2364) at Veeam.Ews.Internal.ResponseMessageTypeExtension.ThrowIfError(ResponseMessageType item)
at Veeam.Ews.Internal.BaseResponseMessageTypeExtension.GetItems[T](BaseResponseMessageType response)
at Veeam.Ews.ExMailbox.GetFolder(GetFolderType gf, CancellationToken cancel)
at Veeam.Ews.ExMailbox.GetFolder(BaseFolderIdType id, IReadOnlyDictionary`2 requestProps, CancellationToken cancel)
at Veeam.Ews.ExError.<>c__DisplayClass7_0`1.<Catch>b__0()
at Veeam.Ews.ExError.Catch(Action action, String format, Object[] args)
This happens also on Mailboxes from Users which are created several Months ago. It does not happen always on the same accounts.
Is there something known about this? Maybe a MS Problem (once again)?
VBO is Version 5.0.3.1035
Thanks

Hey @agrob,
This seems indeed like an issue on the MS side. Not sure if they changed something or there are temporary issues on their infrastructure. Nevertheless, if you could create a support call it could become handy. We might see others with the same issue
This error I have seen before, but that is not on users which are created several months ago. And just for your info, there is an additional cumulative patch: https://www.veeam.com/kb4270

Hi Andre,
I'll follow up on the case, but the ID doesn't seem to be valid.
Did you reopen the old case? Can't find it in the system.
