We have seen an instance of the Mailbox Protection Report erroring out and it looks like it might be due to some organizations with basic authentication configured. These organizations were created when the server was v6 and maintained as basic when the server was upgraded to v7. Can you let me know if the Mailbox Protection Report needs all the organizations to be converted to Modern Authentication in order to be run?

Hi Hin,
To build the report we need to get the up-to-date list of all users in the organization, and if Basic auth is now disabled for this M365 tenant, VB365 fails to connect to the organization. At the same time, it would mean that backups should also stop working for this organization and you need to edit this organization in VB365 and change the auth method to modern to keep everything working.
