Hello,
we want to use VB for M365 to backup the entire tenant with OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams and Exchange Online. Which Microsoft 365-License should we use for the Veeam backup user?
I've done some tests with Business Basic, is this the ideal license for our scenario?
Thanks!

Re: Microsoft 365-License
Hi redhorse
There shouldn't be any backup user account and M365 license with Modern Auth Only.
Are you still using Basic Auth? I recommend to configure your VB365 Modern Auth only, because Microsoft will disable basic auth soon in your tenant.
For basic authentication, the backup account requires:
- Exchange Online license for protecting Public Folder
- License with Teams access for protecting Microsoft Teams
Thanks,
Faboan

Re: Microsoft 365-License
Sorry for the misunderstanding, we use modern authentication but we need to specify a user account to use for impersonation in Exchange Online Web Services.
