Microsoft Teams Essentials and VBM365
After doing a bit of research on and following multiple links between Veeam and MS sites, I've come to the conclusion that VBM365 can't backup/restore Microsoft Teams Essentials due to Administration privileges required???
Just looking for a definitive yes MTE is supported or no MTE not supported.

Hi Neil,
To clarify, do you mean that the main administrator account of the organization only uses an Essentials license? Or is this for 1 or more specific users?

Re: Microsoft Teams Essentials and VBM365
The customer has 25-30 Users on Microsoft Teams Essentials, and the Partner is looking to provide VBM365 as the mechanism to backup the Microsoft Teams Essentials implementation/data.
I don't think there is Administration privileges available that suit the VBM365 requirements for backup/restore of data????
Hence looking for yes/no for MTE support from a VBM365 perspective

Hi Neil,
We haven't tested the Essentials plan support, but so far I don't think we can protect such environments. You're right that we need a highly privileged M365 Global Administrator account and permissions for adding an M365 organization to VB365 and I doubt that customers with just a Microsoft Teams Essentials plan have access to it.

Hi Polina, could you please clarify whether Teams Essentials is officially supported with VBM365 or not?
Thanks
