Migrate to new server

Hello,

I want to migrate my All in one VBM365 to new server (both VM) to install newer OS.
I see there is a KB here : https://www.veeam.com/kb2649

However, there is nothing about all the required step on Azure AD inside it and I have several questions.

-Can I reuse the same app than my old server when I add the organization ? I just need to recreate certificate ? (I used self signed)

-When I enable restore portal, can I use the same app than my old server? Do I have to use the same URL ? I just need to recreate certificate ? (I used self signed)

I guess I can also remove both of them and just recreate them on the new installation... However I would like to understand how it's exactly working.

Hi matteu,

In both cases, you can either create a new apps or re-use the existing ones; there're no limitations.

Thanks for your answer.
Tested it now and it s working fine.
Just 1 thing :
If you reuse the same app wait 10/15 Min before execute the backup job. If you don t veeam says the new cert is not associated with the app. It takes some minutes.
For me it worked on retry 1 of the job without any modifications
