Minimum System Requirements
When attempting to upgrade to version 6.0, I'm getting a Warning. However looking though the page about it, I can't find anything I'm missing https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=60
Its a virtual server running Server 2022, with 8 CPU cores, 16GB memory, 500GB hard drive. I've checked .NET version. The link about Universal C Runtime only mentions very old Windows versions.
Is there any way of finding out what it is failing on?

Re: Minimum System Requirements
Hi Tim,
the logs should be able to help you out. Do you have a screenshot from the warning?

Re: Minimum System Requirements
Tim,
Could you please also check the details from the product logs located at \ProgramData\Veeam\Backup365\Logs\Setup?
There should be something like:

Re: Minimum System Requirements
Thanks. It reported 3GB RAM so I went and double-checked the VM settings and it was set with Dynamic memory, for some reason, hence it was too low when tested.
Can Veeam M365 cope with Dynamic RAM?

Re: Minimum System Requirements
I would suggest at least having the minimum requirements as a static/fixed setting. Dynamic RAM may result in job failures or other issues as we can't predict how it works.

Re: Minimum System Requirements
We have it documented in our userguide:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... mic&ver=60
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... mic&ver=60
Memory: 16 GB RAM minimum. Additional RAM and CPU resources improve backup, restore and search performance.
Host with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 also requires a minimum size of 16 GB of RAM for VMs with dynamic memory allocation.

Re: Minimum System Requirements
Thanks all. I set it to Fixed rather than Dynamic
