Hi,
After upgrading our Veeam 365 to version 6 when opening the console get a message that some of your organizations using basic authentication and we should change this to modern authentication.
I did check the property of our organization and indeed is Basic authentication, can I simply use the option modern authentication? what would change when using this option?

Re: modern authentication
@mrshahin
Basic authentication is being deprecated by Microsoft. That's why we give this warning already today, although it still is possible to use it. The ETA of deprecation is somewhere in October, but if MSFT notices in their big data you are not using it anymore, they can deprecate it faster.
Technically there should not be any issues if you change it, however, not all functionality in basic authentication is supported in modern authentication. See here for the details: https://www.veeam.com/kb3146
