Hi everyone,
we're offering our customers to backup their O365 data with Veeam. Since we're just introducing this product for our customers, we would like to know, how to monitor the different backup jobs.
We use icinga as monitoring system. Does Veeam Backup for Office 365 use som OIDs?
I didn't even find how to generate email reports, if one of the backupjobs fail.
Thanks in advance!
Kai

Re: Monitoring VBO365
You can gather information via the restful api about job sessions: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=40
Or PowerShell: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=40
This should help to get you started to create something you can use with icinga.

Re: Monitoring VBO365
Hello Kai,
I've made the next bash shell script to obtain and parse the RESTful API that Niels is mentioning - https://github.com/VeeamHub/grafana/tre ... 65-grafana
I think that script should be good enough to instead of sending a curl POST to InfluxDB, you send it directly to Icinga somehow. Or just use InfluxDB, and Grafana, as you can see your Icinga data in Grafana.
I hope it does inspire you, any idea, or feedback, please let us know.
Best regards
