It has been raised to us by a customer that Veeam 365 would benefit from a more aware/dynamic user listing on jobs. They are trying to backup specific mailboxes and are finding some listed don't have licenses to be backed up.
It would make sense and be more streamlined if Veeam365 would only generate lists of users who have sufficient licensing to be backed up. Or even a "Test" functionality which can then test against some baselines (licenses, permissions/access) to confirm the listed objects are "Ready to be backed up"
Thanks
Matt

Re: [Feature Request] More Dynamic User Selection in Jobs
Hi Matt,
This is a good request; however, what you want to achieve would come at a cost. The more details we try to get instantly when populating the list of objects (users in this case), the more time it takes; and for larger environments, it may take hours before you are able to select the objects you need.
For now, managing users via groups in O365 is the optimal way.
Thanks!
