Notifications : Token expires and needs reauthorization

Hello,

On every instance where we configure notifications with Modern Authentication at first everything works fine for a while.
After a periode of time however the token expires and the system stops sending notifications.
This is a serious problem because there is no way of knowing if the backups still run. The only solution is to login every month to see if the token is still active.
What am I missing here? Is this at Microsofts side that the token is being invalidated? If so why?
How can i be sure that the notification system keeps working ?

Hi Yves and welcome to Veeam forums,

The token actually should be refreshed automatically; so either there's something broken or has changed.
Are you seeing this problem on v8.1? which build are you running?

Yves, can you check if you have any Conditional Access policies created to limit the lifetime of MFA trust on devices? If the number of days users can trust devices is limited, it can impact token refresh.
