O365 Multiple Customers
We are using Veeam Backup for Office 365 and we are performing backups for several organizations. We have one large repository and all customer backups go there. It looks like the repository is not partitioned for jobs like the was regular Veeam B&R does. All data goes into one repository broken down by year. This is not an acceptable way to store customer data.
What is the preferred method of doing this? Create separate folders on the one large repository or create a separate repository for each customer?
I assume I will have to restart the backups from scratch after I decide which path to take. Veeam O365 backup seems to be a subset of regular Veeam B&R and doesn't have a lot of features for manipulating backup data.

Different repository per customer is indeed advised (can be folders as u state).
You can make new repositories and use PowerShell to move the data (using https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=50 ). Afterwards, you can then adjust the backup jobs (or recreate them) and point them to the new customer specific repository.

Re: O365 Multiple Customers
Which command moves ALL data from an organization from one repository to another? Is it the SITE command? I see commands to move an individual user's data and another for group data but can I move the entire organization?

Re: O365 Multiple Customers
Well I ran the script and selected the second organization from the list (ITEM 1) and set the destination repository. For some reason the script grabbed the data from the first org on the list (ITEM 0) instead of the one I selected. When you are dealing with multi terabyte backups any error like this can be frustrating.
