Hi team,
Apologies if something obvious is being missed here; I've read though all the documentation but don't seem to be able to find an answer to my question.
When I specify an object storage repo for VBO365 and offload my local repo to this, what actually happens? I can find no settings anywhere other than simply enabling offloading.
When this is enabled - what data winds up in S3? Are backups aged out, or mirrored, or something else?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Offloading to object storage - what data is actually held in cloud?
Hi Chris,
To make it simple, all data winds up in the object storage. We do keep a local cache on the proxy, but that is just a subset of some metadata to allow faster loading of the Veeam explorers and such. If you use an object storage repository in VBO, all your protected data is there.
