OneDrive Backup Differential/Modifications
I'm looking to use VEEAM Backup for Office 365 to backup about 1 terabyte of user data. I'd like to perform a backup at midnight each day. I do have questions about the process. Do all the OneDrive files get re-downloaded by VEEAM when the backup is performed, or is there processing that looks at whether files were modified/changed or are new from OneDrive and only bring over those changes?

Hi cgilg,
Welcome to Veeam Forums!
On the subsequent job runs VBO backs up only those items, which have been modified since the last job run.

So if new files were added to OneDrive, subsequent job runs wouldn't pull those new files, it would only pull changes made to existing files from the initial full download?Polina wrote:Hi cgilg,

cgilg,
They will pull both new files and those files which versions have changed since the previous job run. This way, you will have all the changes captured and new items protected as well.
