Proxy server is not available after update
After updating VBO from 2.0.0.594 to 2.0.0814, it cant find our proxy server. Is there anyway we can roll back to 2.0.0.594, or is there a workaround for VBO to find our proxy server.
Kind regards

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
Could you clarify a bit more what you mean? What does it state in the GUI? Normally you should be able to update the proxy as well. If this option isn't available, you may need to contact support to see what went wrong.

Christian,
That is not normal behavior. Please create a support call to get this fixed. Log the case ID here and let us know the outcome after investigation by our engineers
Thanks
Mike

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
Hi Mike,
Have logged a support call (03357185). Still waiting for response. Wondering if anyone has experienced this behaviour before.
Tried to update proxy, but it would not allow it. In the GUI it states that the proxy is disconnected and that Proxy is not available.
Kind regards

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
In a disconnect state means that the VBO proxy cannot talk to the controller (main VBO server) anymore. But I don't know or cannot think of something why that happened during the upgrade.

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
Called support and they've seen that the proxy server for Veeam service wasn't running. This seems to have worked, but we need to run a back up job to ensure everything is working as usual.

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
That would be an easy solution .
But I wonder if the service was down because of the upgrade.
Let us know if backing up works
Thanks
Mike

Re: Proxy server is not available after update
Backing up works, so many thanks to Veeam Support. This was summary of the issue. The backup Proxy was in the unavailable state, we'd started the Veeam Backup Proxy for Microsoft Office 365 Service, after that Veeam Proxy has started to respond in the Veeam Console. In addition, we checked Veeam logs and rescanned the Proxy.
Kind regards
