Hello all,
since Version 5.0.1.179 of Veeam for O365 (also applies with Patch 5.0.1.207) there is a new entry in the Proxy.xml
<License OfflineTimeoutExpirationDate="2021-03-18T09:14:37.5214574Z"/>
The timestamp renews with every "Update License" and apparently after every Backup run.
It is approxymately 48h ahead of the last renewal.
What does it mean?
Can it run out and what happens if it runs out?
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Manuel

Re: Proxy.xml OfflineTimeoutExpirationDate
Manuel,
When the controller would be offline for whatever reason, backups continue to run on the proxies for 2 days (48 hours) before they stop working. However, restores won't work during the time the proxy is offline, but at least the backups continue. Makes sense?
Thanks
Mike
(PS: That feature exists already for quite some time. Not sure why the information is moved to the XML file at this moment)
