I am trying to use a QNAP TS-110 as backup repository for Veeam Backup for Office 365. The QNAP ist member of my domain.
According to https://www.silvesterlangen.de/?Diverse ... aktivieren I have enabled SMB 3.0 on this QNAP.
I configured the backup repository according to https://www.veeam.com/kb2971 but the result is: "Network name not found".
The path used is: \\192.168.234.6\Backups_ROCKIT10_V365.
The share Backups_ROCKIT10_V365 has R/W access for the VEEAM server and even full guest access permissions.
192.168.234.6 is the IP address of the QNAP.
The share \\192.168.234.6\Backups_ROCKIT10_V365 is accessible from the VEEAM server (e.g. via net use)
What is wrong?
Many thanks - Michael

Re: QNAP as backup repository
General advice: ommit SMB where you can, use iSCSI + ReFS instead.

Re: QNAP as backup repository
Can you please try to rename your share without "_".
