Reporting for Backup for O365

Post by kilkenny5fact »

I see the out of the box options for reporting are just user, mailbox, and storage used. My client is requesting reporting for onedrive, and sharepoint as well, as they house a lot of their data in there. I cant see any other options to report on those. What are the options to obtain this info and report it to my clients? Thanks

Hello,
The best solution to get enhanced reporting, dashboarding and alarms, for free, it will be to install Veeam ONE on a separates VM/Server, add your VB365 server, and then produce the reports you require, even schedule to be sent automatically with the scope you want, to the required clients.

Really detailed visibility.

Make sure you update to VB365 v7, amd install the mew license key that has the M365Suite in it.

Veeam ONE can be even Community Edition.

Thank you

Ive got veeam one installed and ran the report template and added in the sharepoint and one drive options, but the report is still not showing any of the sharepoint sites and user sharepoint data as backed up on it, but if I look through the actual run job log, its showing me those items have been backed up. Any ideas?

Hello, which report exactly are you looking at? Also, have you let Veeam ONE finish the data collection? It takes some time; then it syncs every five minutes, if I am not mistaken.

Please let me know, you can always create a ticket if after some time you can not see the objects you are protecting, and that you can see in the VB365 jobs.

Thanks!
