Restore a point in time from archived Veeam for O365 backup

Post by i.stajcic »

Hello,
I'm trying to restore a point in time Exchange online backup created with Veeam for Microsoft 365.
The organization in question was backed up for about a year with Veeam for Microsoft 365 including Exchange, SharePoint, One drive...
At some point we stooped backing up that organization, removed it from Veeam for Microsoft 365 and archived the backup files.
Now, I'm trying to do a point in time Exchange data restore from that backup.
I open Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange and load the data (Add Store > Add Microsoft Exchange Database).
The data loads successfully, but it appears to load only the latest restore point available.
I would like to use older restore points from that backup, but I can't find an obvious way to do that either using GUI or PowerShell.
I need help with this please?

Hi

Choosing point in time restore is currently only possible within the VB365 console.
You have to add the root folder with the VB365 databases as a backup repository and re-add your old M365 organization.

Thanks,
