Hi guys,
i have a vbo server with version 5.0.2.22 installed, which is a virtual machine with local repository. The virtual machine is backed up with Veeam B&R 10.0.0.4461. Apllication aware processing is activated, ran successfully and shows exchange online, sharepoint online und onedrive. All ILR sessions show „the database version is not supported“.
Should i install the explorers from vbo 5.0.2.22 on the vbr server? Where can i find information about compatibility for the ILR scenario with vbo?
Thank you in advance

Re: Restore ILR via VBR
Hello,
I would upgrade to V11. Then you also see MS Teams in VBR.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Restore ILR via VBR
Hi Hannes,
thank you for your answer.
What is the minimum required version for the latest vbo? Is there any documentation about this? I couldn‘t find any information.
I ask because of lifcycle management. Vbo is updated quite often and i have to be prepared to restore from vbr.
thanks

Re: Restore ILR via VBR
As you didn't upgrade yet: 11.0.0.837 P20210525 - it makes no sense for me to tell you an outdated version even if it might work.
I'm not aware of any documentation for that specific use-case. Because the normal way is restoring directly in VBO (and not VBR from VBO backups). For VBR we always recommends to use the "latest version".

Karsten,
With each VBO update we make sure that the explorers always work with the latest VBR installations
