Restore log not showing actual status
Hi there
I am trying to show users when they restore, which files were skipped, merged and restored.
When doing a restore using the Sharepoint explorer, the end result is posted, 1 skipped, 1 restoeed.
But if i go to the VBO job log, i see was restored successfully for both if the files, even though one was skipped.
Is this a bug, or how can i see whats skipped etc. as far as i know, it's the same result when doing using API.

Can u clarify what u mean with VBO job log? Are u talking about the console view or log files?

Hi Niels
Sorry, the Console log beneath the list of jobs.
i just tried to list the same restore session in swagger, and the API endpoint: https://127.0.0.1:4443/v5/RestoreSessio ... s/{EVENTID} gives the same incorrect message.
Item LargeTestFile5221 was restored successfully (type: Item; source: /sites/Mainsite/Shared Documents/LargeTestFile5221; target: https://tenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/Mainsite)

Hi Kim,
Could you open a support case for insight here for assistance as it looks like we'll need to gather some logs and additional info to see if it's a bug or not. Can you let us know the case ID once done?

Hi Niels
I am not too happy with the outcome of the case, so i was able to get the Skipped state in, but i am still in great need of merged and overwritten. They are just as important.
Can you pull any strings to get those states included in the release ?
Or can @Polina maybe pull some strings ?
