Restore mailbox to another organisation

Hi,

We are planning to use Veeam Backup for Office 365 to migrate mailbox from one tenant to another, is it possible?

Has anybody tried doing it?

We would like to have some ideas before testing it in production.

Hi Paul and welcome to Veeam Forums!

Yes, it's possible to restore a mailbox from one tenant to another - you just need to specify a target mailbox in a new location and provide corresponding credentials.

Two things to note: 1) you can only restore to an existing mailbox, as VBO cannot create new accounts in O365 2) bulk restore to another location is not possible.
