Hi all,
We are currently playing through some DR scenarios and have some questions.
We backup our management environment daily, what would happen if we were to restore our management environment from a backup from say 2 days ago? The data is stored with an S3 provider. In the meantime, for example, some jobs have run and the local cache and the Postgres database no longer correspond to the status from the repos due to the restore. Can the jobs simply be restarted or does this lead to a corruption of e.g. the database, the cache or the repos or can Veeam synchronize everything again?
The only thing we might lose would be the job histories between the statuses or things we changed in between (e.g. restore sessio, job status, settings, logs)?
Any ideas?

Re: Restore Management Server from Backup (DR Scenario)
Hi aeph,
We haven't tested it with v8, so I cannot say how exactly things will work in such a case. But to update the repository state, you can initiate repository synchronization - it will update the local cache with the metadata from object storage.
