Restore Office 365 signatures?

Post by AlexLeadingEdge »

Perhaps a stupid question, but it is better to be a fool for five minutes than a fool for the rest of your life, so here goes...

We have a client whose secretary uses her Office 365 signatures as a way of creating a template (canned) response for their clients.

She moved from her usual machine (A) to another machine (B) and back again (A) and all her signatures disappeared, I assume the sync didn't happen when she moved from A -> B and then when she moved back it synched B -> A and deleted her existing signatures on Machine A. She has then added one signature when she got back onto Machine A and so I can't just roll back the signature file (I tried this).

Is there a way to use Veeam 365 to restore these signatures?

Hi Alex,

VB365 won't help you, unfortunately. But probably these will give you an idea:

Thanks Polina. I have checked the \\COMPUTERNAME\c$\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures folder and it doesn't have any old files, and Shadow Copies are not turned on so no way to roll back. The end user will just have to recreate them all using their emails in their Sent Items.
