Restore sharepoint site to another organisation?
Hi,
Is it possible to use Veeam to do a tenant migration? I would like to backup sites from a tenant and restore it in another.
Thank you

Re: Restore sharepoint site to another organisation?
Hi Veronique,
This is something which I don't believe we have tested. I will ask our QC department if this is tested.
For my curiosity, the business case is a migration and nothing more? Does the original site has specific templates/ designs/ customizations? (This will make a big difference)
I believe that adding your new tenant as an organization in O365 will give you the possibility to use that through the Veeam explorer to choose a location for restore. But as said, let me check with QC.

I would be interested in this as well. We have a client that has a two tenant spaces, one production, one testing, and they would like to restore from one space to the other.

Hi Alejandro,
Cross-tenant migration of SharePoint sites is currently not supported, but we plan to add it in future releases.

Hi Polina,
we have very similar environment as arosado1234 said. Production and test tenant.
The information that this is the plan is from 2019.
Does it still only plan after 2.5 years?
