Restore Sharepoint to Personal OneDrive Documents

Hello,

I am wanting to perform a restore from Sharepoint to OneDrive under the same Office 365 Tenancy is this possible and how would i go about doing it. I have tried to use the personal sharepoint URL for the restore location but failed.

Outline restore request: A large folder located in a Sharepoint Site to be restored to a users Personal OneDrive Doucments area.

Reason: Would normally use Office365 move to function however the files being moved exceed the file move limit which means i am unable to move the files unless in re-download and re-upload the files manually, would be quicker if i could restore the current folder to OneDrive then remove from SharePoint after the restore has completed.

Hi Jack,

Although OneDrive for Business is a SharePoint site with a special view, underneath there are still some little differences so it is not possible (at this moment) to restore.

I will investigate if this is possible in the future, but I kind of fear for it...
