I'm trying to restore a file using the SparePoint browser.
When I selected a file to restore, the next message appears:
Column type TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti(MediaServiceImageTags) is not supported. The item could be restored incorrectly
Result is that the file is not restored.
I also choosed another file, this was also wasn't restored.
What can I do to resolve this?

Re: Restore simple Sharepoint file
Hi ARHalderberge
I believe, your question goes in the same direction as the following topic. Restoring Managed Metadata is not yet supported, but it's on our roadmap --> Restoring managed metadata in Sharepoint lists
As a workaround, can you save the file to your local drive and upload it manually ?
Thanks
Fabian

Re: Restore simple Sharepoint file
That is gonna be a difficult job, because I have to restore a large number of files, because the came corrupted after a sync to OneDrive which got interrupted. We just recently migrated the files from on premise to O365.
And I don't understand why these files have these tags, It seems to me they are just 'simple' files.

Re: Restore simple Sharepoint file
I must say, I don't have much experience in the managed metadata feature.
Maybe there are some policies/rules enabled in your M365 tenant which adds this managed metadata when someone uploads a document?
Best Regards
Fabian
