Hello,
a quick question regarding the retention of old user data.
If a user stops working a the company and is removed from the Veeam O365 Job, are the old backups of his mailbox still there for archival purposes and can be accessed via a Point-in-time restore?
In essence, is the mailbox still in the repository if the user was removed from the job.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Retention of data after removal of licensed user
Hi,
Yes, the data will remain in the repository and will be deleted according to the specified retention rules.
Thanks!

Re: Retention of data after removal of licensed user
Hi,
Is there an easy way to find out when user data or mailbox was last in the backup?
For example, a user leaves the company, O365 user and mailbox is removed.
We have a retention policy on the backup repository of 10 years.
A few months after the user was deleted, we need to restore an item out of that mailbox.
How can we know what restore point (latest restore point where user was active) we need to open?

You can use Get-VBOEntityData (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/vb ... ydata.html) to show this. It should show you the last backup data for objects.
