Case # 07754067 - Need to restore the one drive data for deleted user account from Retore portal
We have worked on this case and finally we had confirmed from Veeam support team.
After deleting the user account and the user will not appear in the Restore Portal anymore. And we can only perform the restore from Backup server side not from Restore portal . And Veeam said this is the expected behavior and design for current versions. And customers are very unsatisfied on this.
Do you have any plans to add this feature ?

Re: Retore the data from restore portal for deleted users
Hi Yedukondalu,
This is indeed by design. Using the Restore Portal, you can only restore the data to its original location which in case of deleted user does not exist. Hence, such a restore is not possible.
The only type of deleted object that you can restore using the Portal is a team. A new team will be created in your production environment and all the content will be restored.
In a longer term, we plan for adding more functonality to our Portal, including the ability to restore to another location. This will allow for restoring, for example, a deleted mailbox to another mailbox that is present in production.
Thanks!
