Dear Forum.
I just did setup a new VBO Server. We do still have lik 7TB of old O365 Data in an S3 compatible repository.
So I just added this as object repository.
Veeam VBO did check that there is already data inside and it shows some used space.
But how can I retrieve the data now?
Since there are no backupjobs of the old VBO server there I thought I just add a new backupjob based on the repository I have made with expanded object storage.
But there are no possibilities to retrieve data now.
Can somebody point me to a solution?
Kind regards
Peter

Re: Retrieve data from S3 repository
Until now I did not run the newly created backup job...
Should I just run it and it will sync the data?

Re: Retrieve data from S3 repository
Hi Peter,
I'm not sure what you mean by 'retrieve' from an S3 Compatible repository, but assuming, you're looking for a way to read your existing backups, right?
To read the data located in this re-added repository, you need to 1) run synchronization for this repository 2) have organization(s) backed up to this repository present in the VB365 console. In this case, if you right-click an organization and select Explore point in time, you'll see all the backup data for the selected organization, including the data stored in your S3 Compatible.

Re: Retrieve data from S3 repository
Hi Polina.
Yeah I wanna read the existing backups in the S3 repo.
I thought so that the organization needs to be backed up first and this will merge with the data within the S3 repo.
Thank you for confirming!

Re: Retrieve data from S3 repository
If this organization has already been backed up to this re-added repository, it should be associated with the existing data automatically.
