Hi veeam team,
we would like to ask for a feature request. This feature was available all the time but it seems that it was removed with v8.
We use several on-premise S3 storage systems. They all come with a different endpoint. Before v8 there was a "endpoint" column available in the repo section.
From time to time it is required to have that information. Clicking into each repo is not convenient. Since it was removed we are now required to manage it outside of vbo.
Get-vborepository or get-vboobjectstoragerepository do not contain that information either.
Could you add this column again please? Why was it removed?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Bjoern

Re: [Feature Request]: S3 endpoint column in repo section
Hi Bjoern,
Before v8, repositories with object storage were configured and displayed as two different entities - the local cache and the cloud part, and each came with a set of its own parameters. Now each repository is a single entity that you configure end to end with a single wizard, and the UI representations has to be adapted accordingly.
You can still get the service point property via REST APIs using the (GET) v8/BackupRepositories endpoint, In PowerShell, I cannot see a similar property - I'll double check if it's anyhow possible and get back to you.
Thanks!

Thanks for the explanation, Polina.
Will look into the REST option.
