Select users by Organizational Unit

We have a school district that uses Office 365 and wants to use Veeam Backup for Office 365. They have around 300 staff and 3,000 students. They only want to backup mailboxes and data for the staff. Is there a way to select only the staff and exclude the students? Can Veeam O365 backup select data based on AD OU?

That‘s not possible.
But you can add a security/distribution group which contains all users you want to backup.
Create a security group or distribution group for the staff member and choose this group as a source to backup.
