(Sorry if this is already discussed somewhere. It's not possible to search for "S3".)
We are thinking of building our own S3 storage and using that for VBM. I would be happy if anyone would like to share their experience in this. So far we have not even decided what implementation to use. I would like to focus on "simple and foolproof" if that is at all possible.

Re: Self-hosted S3 storage
Hey Daniel,
I hope others will reply with their personal experiences, I can only comment from the conversations I have with customers. As long as the S3-compatible storage is compatible, I hear good things from those customers. Just keep into account that there are limitations (like no versioning enabled on the VB365 repositories)

Re: Self-hosted S3 storage
Hi Daniel
I have personal experience with both croit for Ceph and MinIO as S3 storage.
They both work really great and to this day I still haven't seen any storage specific problems.
