Sharepoint restore folders out of path

Yesterday , customer requested restore a single folder, as with Restore Portal are unable to do it , we proceed with the Sharepoint Explorer.

Customer asked for a zip , we provided but customer notified that some folders are missing. (First Issue), we verified and its true, ZIP missed some folder that exist in Explorer.

Then we proposed to the customer to save directly in our server and provide a new zip, one finished we checked the folder, some folder we're missplaced , other path has been invented.

Are there any bug related to Sharepoint explorer or private fix?

I recall a similar problem with misplaced folders reported recently, and we provided the customer with a private fix to resolve this issue. Please continue working with support to confirm the root cause and get the fix if needed.

As i understood in the tickets, can be this a code regresion? Looks like it was fixed some versions ago but same issue happens again.

Not really. The fix has not been publicly available yet - it's planned for a future patch/version. So far, it has only been delivered to a customer like you who was running an earlier version of the product than you. Now, to help you, we'll need to adapt this fix to your version. Makes sense?

Yes It make sense. 100% if works , for me private fix are not a problem.

We are not a dev team, and the number you shared seems to be your contract ID, and not the case ID )
I cannot provide you an estimate on what comes earlier. The private fix was rebuilt for the version you're using and is undergoing testing, as your support engineer informed you.
