Hi,
I'm evaluating Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, specifically to backup SharePoint only. When adding Organization, I've setup Azure AD Application account with the required Graph Application permissions EXCEPT "Sites.Read.All". This is because we want Veeam to not have 100% read capability into all of our sites, and we also intend to use Veeam to only backup some of our sites. I already tried giving sufficient permission into the selected sites using "Sites.Selected" permission, but still it shows error that it still require "Sites.Read.All" as shown in this screenshot link: https://pasteboard.co/UYX4UC3KIwDb.png.
Is the "Sites.Read.All" really necessary? or is there any workaround for just using "Sites.Selected"? this is a major blocker for us to continue using Veeam. Thanks!

Re: Sites.Read.All Permission Really Necessary?
Hi Danialdy and welcome to Veeam forums!
This permission is mandatory, and its validation cannot be turned off.
Thanks!
