storing credentials for proxy connection
Hi,
I'm wondering why the credentials for the connection from the backup-server to the proxies isn't stored. If I compare that to B&R, if I specify credentials there, they will be stored and "re-used" when I try to upgrade the proxy or such stuff. Here I always have to grab the credentials.
Voting for a future request...
Thanks!

Hello,
uhm, that's not normal behavior. Do you have a case number for that?
Best regards,
Hannes

No, just thought it was not implemented. So when you specify specific credentials when you add a proxy, those will be stored? When you click on "edit" and go through the wizard, they appear again??

ah sorry... my fault... I always use the "use current account". That's why I never had to re-enter the password.

Re: storing credentials for proxy connection
So I can consider it as a feature request, right?

@mcz
Yes you can .
But we are not certain yet when it will arrive. Probably not in the version that is in beta right now.

Re: storing credentials for proxy connection
Hi Mike,
I'd like to remember to that feature request. It's a bit annoying to me, because every time I update the VBO-server, the upgrade for the proxy fails for whatever reason and it's asking for credentials... Maybe it's unique here but I've got the feeling that it's not as stable as VBR...
Thanks!

Michael,
Sent me a PM so we can open a discussion on this, I specifically would need some information around your setup
