Teams backup

Post by mrshahin »

Hi,
We have upgraded from Veeam for office365 from 5 to version 6. now I would like to also backup our Teams. under explorers I don't see the explorer for Teams.
is this because the Teams is not selected at the Organization property? if we select this option would our Teams also get backup and we would also get the explorer for the Teams as well?

Thanks

Yep, sounds logical.

That's correct. You need to create a backup job first and then select the teams you want to protect. Once it is done, you will be able to right-click on the job (or organization), and select the explorer for Teams

Thank you for your reply,
If I understood you correctly, we should first enable the Teams in the property of the Organization and after that create a separate job only for Teams, even we already have a jobs that backup Sharepoint and a job that backup Mailbox and OneDrive, am I right?

Thanks

Yes you first have to enable Teams under the Organization, after that you can create a job for Teams or you can add it to one of the other jobs.
So if you want to you can add Teams and Sharepoint to the same job.
