I just encountered this issue as I wanted to start working on the Powershell stuff for when it is released. Just wind the clock on the computer back, I changed mine to 2016 and now have a year on the beta.

I inadvertently removed the beta before removing the proxy on another machine, how can I manually remove the proxy now? I do not see it listed in add/remove programs and cannot find an installer to run a remove either.

Never mind, answered my own question... CMD > sc delete Veeam.Archiver.Proxy
