One of our customers, previously on v7, has a backup repository of about 70TB (about 4k users), they also have backup copy to an immutable repository.
With v8 it is now possible to backup directly to an immutable repository.
What are my options to migrate from 2 repositories and a copy job to 1 repository and direct backup to an immutable repository?

Re: Upgrade v7 -> v8 Immutability
Hi Alex,
There’s no migration support from mutable to immutable repositories — not even unofficially with third‑party tools.
Your customer will need to restart their backups with a new initial full backup to the new primary immutable repository.
The old repositories can remain connected until the backups are out of their retention and immutability period — the retention job on the backup server will then automatically remove this old backups.
Best,
Fabian
