v8 - Resource temporarily unavailable - when trying to backup (new installation)

We are receiving this message in different moments:
For Exchange - when starting to resolve the objects, it just ends with a "nothing to process" message + "Resource temporarily unavailable"
For OneDrive - more than 70% of my accounts receive this message error when downloading the object's data.

At first, we thought it was a Microsoft issue, and waited some days, but after some tries, the Exchange started downloading, but later the same error again, and we still didn't finish the full backup.

The same organization is running fine in the v7 environment.

Did you already come to a solution, we have the same error and also an open support case, but still no resolution.

Hi Ronny,

It might be an issue with the communication of proxies within a pool. If you have a mix of Windows and Linux proxies, and Windows proxies are added using their host names, make sure to add those names to /etc/hosts.

Hi,

Just to clarify the situation: We have a new version 8 installation Windows server 2022 Backup software, ProgreSQL and NATS and 2 Ubuntu 22.04 Ubuntu Proxy servers in one pool. We had issues with adding them in first place, this was resolved with adding the servers to the host file on both Windows and Linux servers. After that we had some issue with connection, but this is resolved when we disable the windows firewall. But the issue is still available. The default Windows proxy is not used.

This issue in our environment was that both Linux proxy servers could not resolve each other on hostname. After adding the records to the host file on the Linux server the problem was solved.

So good to know all servers need to be resolvable on hostname from every server.
