Hi, just a quick question: does the repository should be a SOBR? What I see is that I can choose between local or object, but there are no policy to move (archive/tiering) the older backup from DAS to Object. Can you confirm it?
Thank you!

Re: VBO Repository: DAS and Object and SOBR
Hi,
In VBO, repository structure is different from Veeam Backup & Replication, and there's no such feature as SOBR.
You can choose either a local repository or a repository extended to object storage as a target for a backup job, but there're no policies available for automated archiving to object storage (yet).
Keep an eye on the upcoming v6 release though, as it will bring something that may fit your needs
Thanks!
