VBO v8.0.2.15 Upgrade error

Hi All,

FYI:

After downloading the VeeamBackupMicrosoft365_8.0.2.159.ISO file and performing the Run As Administrator to do the upgrade from the existing Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 7.1.0.2031,
I am stuck with these two issues, despite the Firewall being turned off during the upgrade process:

First Error:

Unable to write inside TEMP environment variable path.

Second Error:

[Window Title]
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

[Content]
Installation failed.
Failed to connect to 10.10.10.10:5432
[OK]

There is no existing Postgre SQL in the Windows Server 2022 VM hence not sure why I am getting the above error.

Ensure that you installed NATS and PostgreSQL instances during the upgrade. Also, please check the Upgrade section of the Release Notes document.

OK, because the existing VBO 7.1.0.2031 server doesn't have Postgre SQL and NATS, do I have to manually install it first?

I had the same errors when updating. Turned out to be the Windows Script Host, which I disabled. This was a recommendation by Veeam B&R, if I remember correctly.
Enabled by setting the registry key in [Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings].

You can install them manually in advance, or let the VB365 installer do the job during the upgrade.

Also, I'd recommend you read the Release Notes. v8 has many architectural changes and it'd be better to prepare for the upgrade.
