Veeam application changes SharePoint site

We are a service provider that host a O365 backup for a large international costumer.
The costumer then contacts us about the Veeam backup applications that have changed some of their SharePoint web pages and leaves them with a new version number and as a draft that is not published.
It also changes the modified date for the draft / site.

Has anyone experienced similar problems where a solution has been found without disabling the sites from backup or where Veeam applications does not change the version of the site?

We use moderne authentication and have the following setting enabled ”Allow this application to enable export mode for SharePoint Web Parts. Enabling export mode is required to backup customized content of SharePoint Online sites.”

What version are you running? Some changes in this area have been made. Please continue to work with support on it. The modified date I am aware off but the draft seems something I have not heard before
