In Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 can I select a VeeamBackup Repository to store the backup like B&R or just using a local directory or SMB directory?
In Veeam Endpoint Backup there was also the possibility to do it in stead of local or shared folder.

You can't select a VBR repository. The repository idea is different in VBO. Here it is just a disk or folder for storing the backups.

The data from O365 is stored in a running database of Exchange type (Jet blue). Therefore you can't run it on every type of storage like you can with VBR.
