Very slow backup of Sharepoint Sites

Hi,

I'm testing out Veeam Backup for Office 365 and need to backup several large Sharepoint sites. As a test I've setup a new backup job for a Sharepoint Site which is about 50Gb in size. The backup runs well but the speed is very slow: the bottleneck is the source (Sharepoint Online) which runs at 100K/s due to throttling. So I've added 10 auxiliary backup applications, but still speed is unacceptably slow: it will take days to make a full backup.

Is there something I can do to increase performance or workaround the throttling ?

I've opened case 04897390 at Veeam Support, to ask if it's possible to increase speed by selecting individual libaries instead of the whole site, but got no response.

Hi Joeri,

I think it's best to wait for support here to investigate the logs and see if all those 10 applications are actually being used or not. It's hard to tell without more details why you are limited to 100K/s.
