Warning on my Sharepoint site

Post by chris_cacro »

Hello all,
I have a lot of warnings on many sites like "****-my.sharepoint.com" with the following message :
Processing site ***** (https://****-my.sharepoint.com/personal/username/) finished with warning : failed to backup list : user infolist. Unknown error

Somebody know what it means please and how to correct this ?
I'm in Release 6.0.0.385

Thanks !

Hi,

This is a known issue caused by some change in behavior on the Microsoft side. The hotfix is avaialble here: https://www.veeam.com/kb4326

If the issue remains after applying the hotfix, please contact Veeam Support.

Can I confirm if there will be a hotfix for v5? I spun up a test VM in Azure yesterday based on Veeam's template, this installs v5 still, and the issue occurs with this product version as well.

Michael,

I recommend you upgrade to v6 with the latest patch https://www.veeam.com/kb4285. Version 5 is outdated and technically it is already in the 'end of fix' mode.

Hi Polina,

Thanks for this, it’s to inform my customers mainly. I know after v6 was released there was a patch to resolve the certificate expiry issue, so I thought I’d ask if there were plans to fix this.

Thanks for the reply :)

FYI
It looks like Microsoft fixed the issue on their side. At least since Saturday I don't see those warnings anymore.

Yes, we believe it is indeed fixed on the Microsoft side. However, we are still trying to get a confirmation on this before we would "close" this case internally.
