Azure intergration with B&R

Post by helfire »

Hello All
I've setup Azure backup with B&R integration to perform an offsite copy from azure to my on premise. All is working fine.
I was wondering does the azure appliance need to be running for the backup copy to to on premise to work or can i shut down the appliance after its normal azure jobs to save some resources and cost ?

Thanks Everyone

Chris

Hi Chris,

As long as you have the backup files created in the repository, which is visible to Veeam B&R to do the offsite copy, you don't need the appliance to be up & running since all the interaction is done with the repository and not with the appliance.

Thanks!
