Azure Repository
Support case ID=04414519
I am trying to use the Azure Veeam to attach/setup a repository and when it gets to the container selection, it never finds one. My desktop or local one does and it attaches to it. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Azure Repository
Are you talking about Veeam Backup & Replication? You are probably looking at the external repository which is used for adding Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure or AWS.
If you want to add Azure blob storage and store your backups, you need to configure a scale-out backup repository and extend it using the capacity tier. You can find more information on this in the user guide.

Re: Azure Repository
And you did configure the Azure service account successfully? Or did u run into errors there as well? Which region are you trying to use?

Re: Azure Repository
Yes...I added the account. It sees my azure storage accounts...I select the one I want to use...LRS-West US...I hit next and it spins....and comes back without any containers. Just to test it...I used my local Veeam system...added the same Azure container...and it connected. So...I am missing something here....I just deleted my account prevouisly setup...and re-created it...and still the same. Do I have to have Azure domain services?

Re: Azure Repository
Hi @paulntacoastal
Sorry for the late reply. Did you solve this in the meantime? If Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure cannot see the container, it might be a permissions issue. When you added the Azure service account to Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure, it might have been one with not enough rights?
