Backup of Veeam VM?

I have my Azure veeam up and running and have done a test restore of a VM so I think I am good with backups.

What do I use to backup the Veeam VM itself? Should I use Azure Backup to backup the veeam vm?

What happens if the Veeam VM gets corrupt/deleted etc?
