Feature Request-Veeam for Azure Appliance Disaster Recovery in secondary region

Hi,

I noticed, there is no way to recover the Veeam backup for Azure appliance in a different region (during Disaster recovery). At this stage there is no way to copy the snapshots created by autobackup feature in Azure to different region nor use the script to deploy the appliance from the snapshot in a different region.

This should be added as a new feature in upcoming version to protect & restore appliance in a different region.

Thanks for your request. We are looking at enhancements around the appliance backup for an upcoming version. At this point in time, I can’t provide an ETA though. I will update the thread once this becomes more clear.

No update yet. It will take some time to properly implement and test it. It won’t be in the upcoming v4 release but is targeted for a later release.
