[Feature Request] - Job selection by combining Tags with AND

Hello all,

In VBA it is possible to select the VMs you want to protect by selecting a Tag. There is no possibility to select multiple Tags that we can combine with AND / OR.
If you select multiple Tags, the selection is OR bij default, AND is not possible.

This is indeed possible in VBR but not in VBA.

Thank you for the feedback. Can you share an example scenario where tag conditions are required for you? We will consider this feature for future releases.

Hello Lyudmila,

We are using different tags, for example:
Backup application = Veeam / Azure Backup
Backup policy = Bronze / Silver / Gold
Backup app ware = True / False

When tags are (example) Veeam AND Bronze AND app aware, the VM will be added to the Veeam Policy that had Bronze schedule/retention and application aware snapshots.
And so on. In the current situation ALL of the Bronze VMs are added to the job, even if app aware = False.

I would definitely like to see this implemented as soon as possible. This would really be helpful for automating backup policies for new VMs.
